About
The Alumni Coordination Cell (functional) contributes significantly to the development of the institution through financial and other support services.
Response:The prestige and pride of our college is the great marvelous contribution by our Alumni through the AECPVWS i.e., Aditya Engineering College Purva Vidyardhula Welfare Sangam. The mission of the Alumni Association is to faster mutually beneficial relationship between the Institute and its alumni matter.
Alumni Meet:The alumni meet will be conducted yearly once, wherein the passed-out students of Under Graduate(UG) and Post Graduate(PG) programs share their views with their juniors and give suggestions towards the betterment of career development including non-technical aspects.
Alumni Contributions:• The alumni frequently visit the institution and support the current students deliver guest lectures on career guidance in their areas of expertise and motivate the young minds.
• Alumni are included as members in the Board of Studies(BoS) of all departments. They are invited for meetings at the college and they interact with the members and express their views on curriculum revision, as per modern industry requirements.
• The alumni support in many ways such as giving suggestion, feedback on existing Curriculum, updates on emerging trends, etc through various networking platforms.
Roles & Responsibilities
Roles and Responsibilities of Coordinator:
• Supervision of the process of filling up of forms by each and every student for joining the Institutional Alumni Association, during exit- feedback.
• Extensive usage of the social media to reconnect with students who passed out long back.
• Plan a schedule for Alumni-Current Students meet.
• Felicitation and organization of talks by distinguished alumni.
• Inviting Alumni for judging events at college.
• Take an initiative towards publishing annual alumni magazine/newsletter.
Roles and Responsibilities of Faculty Members:
• Maintain an up-to-date and detailed database of respective departmental students with data from office.
• Updating information regarding higher studies pursued by alumni.
• Involvement in organizing annual Alumni Meet, Alumni-Current Students Meet as well as Alumni-Industry-Current Students Meet.
• Assist the Alumni Association in organizing cultural and sports meet to strengthen their interaction and bonds with current students.
• Participate in compilation of data for publication in Alumni Newsletter.
Roles and Responsibilities of Student Members:
Communicate with alumni and collect relevant data for upload in social media and/or to be printed in Alumni Newsletter.
