Laboratory
Digital Signal Processing laboratory
The DSP lab is equipped with 37 sets of personal computers, Texas Instruments DSP cards ( TMS320C50 and TMS320C6713, TMS320C6748 ). The software used includes Code Composer Studio, MATLAB, And vivado and spyder phyton and Orcad Family Release 9.2 Standalone keil software Dosbox arduino-1.8.16-windows Etc.
Electronic devices and circuits laboratory
A Basic level laboratory with an objective to introduce the concepts of Electronic Devices and Circuits. This lab deals with the design of elementary circuits with discete components, these circuits will be build and analyzed with the help of bread board, CRO, RPS
Communications Lab
This laboratory deals with Analog communications and digital communication based experiments as part of the core subjects. The set of all experiments can be classified into the core groups of Amplitude modulation methods, Frequency modulation methods, Spectrum analysis, Baseband modulation techniques and pass band modulation technqieus. Each expeirment will be analyzed based on Trainer kits as well as simulated using MATLAB
Pulse & digital circuits lab
Pulse and Digital Circuits lab is an extension to the Electronic Devices and Circuits lab, and is used to test the working performance of different digital circuits. The objective of this lab is to design and implement the basic digital circuits icluding both combinational and sequential ciecuits like LOGIC GATES, DECODERS, ENCODERS, MULTIPLEXERS, FLIP FLOPS, and COUNTERS etc., I this lab we can also design and implement d ifferent wave shaping circuits and multi vibrators. With this knowledge students will be able to do the mini-projects with the help of basic knowledge on digital and circuits.
Linear Integrated Circuits Laboratory
The objective of laboratory is to study various ICs and use them to design circuits to perform analog IC experiments, the various applications in mathematical operations, filters, oscillator, data converters using operational amplifiers. The lab will also provide a facility for IC testing.
E-CAD Lab
This Laboratory is well equipped for challenging IC design and validation. The FPGA development board with Xilinx Vivado Design Suit is available. The Cadense Design suit and Nexis Architecture allows us put complex logic into device and verification logic. This supports for conducting the UG/PG labs and also research activities in PhD level.
Microwave Engineering Optical Communication Lab
The laboratory is adequately equipped with microwave benches which includes klystron tubes, gunn diodes, klystron power supplies, directional couplers, circulators and VSWR meters. The experiments conducted include measurement of radiation pattern, VSWR, waveguide parameters etc., It also have the equipment to measure losses and Numerical Aperture in an optical fiber.
Project Lab
Project Lab
The objective of the project lab is to facilitate and support development of projects. The lab will be helpful to inculcate research-based skills in the students. The lab will also help students to apply latest research techniques in their ongoing projects.
